testing responsive websites

Testing a new responsive website is pretty easy to do these days, by just reducing the viewing area of your web browser.

But checking at certain key sizes can be important – does the web page work on an ipad with the desired layout, or does it ‘go mobile’ too early meaning everything looks too big for the ipad, which should be able view a webpage in its fullest format just fine.

A nice little tool I’ve stumbled across quickly lets you test the screen size of lots of different mobiles, tablets and desktops.
