I designed and built the bespoke CMS website for EBS over a year ago. At that time, the idea of websites being built as a fluid layout was only just beginning to emerge.
Fast forward to 2015 and most professional websites are built to allow mobile phone users an easier journey through the website.
EBS wanted to retrofit this method to their existing website to ensure they don’t lose out on any casual mobile phone surfers who are looking for their conservation services without a full scale PC or mac.

I sympathetically designed how the existing site would look on a small screen, then began rebuilding the framework to allow for this.

The key was to not change the design as it stood on a large monitor, but ensure the navigation and content was fully accessible on the mobile.
